Franchise
Expo Paris 2006, shared success
25 years of franchising, development and performance
From
17th to 20th March 2006, Franchise Expo Paris will bring together
over 400 French and international franchises and expects 30,000 visitors
A
unique meeting place, shared ambitions
A must for all those seeking to found companies or who want to work
in franchises, Franchise Expo Paris is Frances leading show for
franchised business. 400 franchises use it for recruitment
and
30,000 people will visit it in 2006 in search of a franchise! At this
25th anniversary show numerous opportunities for meetings are planned:
conferences and workshops to ensure one embarks on franchising fully
informed; help with finding premises and funds offered by a space devoted
to the takeover and transfer of businesses and also one designed to
assist with the launch or takeover of a company; and, for further information
about franchising, there is the stand of the French franchise federation
and the space for the FFF experts panel!
The
town, franchising and the retailer, shared success
The development of towns through commerce takes pride of place at Franchise
Expo Paris: Monday is dedicated to retailers and to Chambers of Commerce
and Industry. Its a vital opportunity for elected representatives
and entrepreneurs to meet. In our towns, franchises are increasingly
acting as a driving force. Vitality and economic dynamism complement
each other in the many original formulae awaiting discovery at the show.
Regional
creativity and national expansion, twofold success
Franchising has been working with the creativity, dynamism and drive
to do business of the regions for many years. On the exhibitor front,
Franchise Expo Paris features local franchises that have become national
or even international franchises: La Mie Calîne in Vendée,
Geneviève Lethu in la Rochelle, La Comtesse du Barry in Gers,
Monceau Fleurs in Paris
Of the 30,000 expected visitors, 55% will
be from the regions and 30% from Paris (the remaining 15% will be international).
The
master franchise, tailoring success
French franchises are increasingly expanding abroad. In 2005, 50% of
the brands who were present were looking to export themselves! The increasing
presence of visiting investors (+29% in 2005) looking for master franchises
in France also confirms this phenomenon. Nearly 25% of the exhibitors
at Franchise Expo are international.
Following on from Spain, Italy will be the country of the year for 2006.
Prestigious franchises from the home, fashion and food sectors will
represent Italy.
One of the new features at Franchise Expo will be a series of international
conferences explaining franchising in Europe and presenting the concepts
to international visitors. The International Trampoline Area will offer
innovative foreign concepts a break.
The
regional, the national and the international will meet and interact
as never before at Franchise Expo Paris in 2006. For
both franchisors and entrepreneurs it is a win win show!
