| To celebrate, the club is hosting a party open weekend on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June and everyone is invited. Formerly Fitness First, the health and fitness club has undergone a complete image change that has been designed to appeal to people of all ages and abilities. General manager, Gary Corby says; "We have, and will continue to invest in providing an environment that is relaxed, comfortable and accessible to everyone. We take a personal approach to ensure our customers feel at ease and use the facilities to reach their individual goals; whether it's losing weight, toning up or generally feeling better about yourself." As well as offering state-of-the-art & easy-to-use equipment; a spacious studio; relaxation and spa area; energie MK is ultimately focussed on giving an ongoing personal service and member support. Unlike most gyms or fitness clubs, energie offers a unique approach to new members. The company has created the 'empower programme' which offers new 'members' a six week results guaranteed fitness programme that requires no joining fee or contract, but offers six personal sessions with a trainer. "Following that period your improvements will be presented to you and you can choose to become a fulltime member of the energie fitness club" adds, Gary. "A number of people stop going to many gyms after the first few weeks, as they don't believe they are getting the support or results they desire. Despite this they are typically tied in to an annual contract for a minimum of a year. This is certainly not the economic climate to invest in anything you're not going to fully use and appreciate; therefore, our six week programme is designed to make sure you make the right decision for you before making any long term commitment." The empower programme evaluates exercise and nutrition to suit the individual's lifestyle but guarantees results in just six weeks or your money back. The programme is just part of the offering to Milton Keynes residents. energie MK is fully equipped with a fitness area with over 50 pieces of exercise equipment; 30 Resistance Machines; a spacious 'Free Weights Zone'; Group Exercise Studio; Spinning Equipment; Sauna; Steam Room; Solarium; Changing Facilities; Sports Massage and Beauty Therapy rooms. On Saturday 27th June, energie MK will host the first of two open days for anyone interested in finding out more about the new energie club. Staff and volunteers will take up space outside the club entrance on the Theatre District grass where they will hold 30 minute taster classes on each hour between 12-4pm. Entertainment and fun will also be provided throughout each day, but ultimately it is a chance to meet the new management team and see the changes at energie MK. |
