Mirage Hair and Beauty Salons - Beautiful franchise opportunity
A top Yorkshire hair and beauty salon famed for helping clients to look younger and slimmer is set to franchise its business.
Mirage Hair and Beauty Salons has developed its own cutting-edge treatments and products which have earned it a reputation as a skin specialist that can help heal and improve skin that other salons are unable to treat, as well as designing a range of machines which take inches off tummies and thighs that stays off for several years.

Founder, Jaz Rander said: “I’ve taken time to perfect the best possible treatments for my clients over a number of years and the results have been phenomenal. Many of my clients travel miles to visit me and although I’m opening a new salon in the centre of Manchester this summer, I can’t open other new salons quickly enough for demand which is why I’m franchising the business.”

As well as a comprehensive four-week training course for all new franchisees, Mirage has linked up with one of the large banks Lloyds TSB, which is backing the launch by offering to fund up to 70% of franchise investment, subject to current lending criteria and status.

The cost for one Mirage territory is £117,000 which includes the training course, help finding the salon, shopfitting, state-of-the-art Mirage branded equipment, marketing and promotional support including nationwide advertising, comprehensive Mirage Operations Manual and Mirage head office advice line.

“The support from the bank means that potential franchisees can open a salon from £14,400 plus VAT and working capital which makes it extremely affordable for those wanting to start in the beauty business but with the backing and support of an expert brand and all the equipment and products”, explained Jaz.

“The hair and beauty business is a growing sector because, whatever the economic climate, people will always want to look and feel good. We have years of experience developing treatments and products as well as expertise in customer service which we will be passing on to all our franchisees to ensure that they can run a successful business.”

Mirage Hair and Beauty Salons has their own range of equipment, including a non-surgical facelift and body shaping system known as Transform. Microdermabrasion combined with a gentle vacuum for scarring and pigmentation is known as Perfection. Renaissance will remove unwanted hair and leave your skin rejuvenated and Chrysalis is something all women want, promising to break down fat and lose up to four inches from tummies and thighs. All these treatments can be complemented by a range of organic products designed by Mirage founder Jaz Rander.

The salons are also experts in threading and sugaring as well as waxing. Another area of expertise is in treating different skin colour. “Very few salons cater for Asian and Afro Caribbean skin, which can have pigmentation which is quite difficult to treat,” explained Jaz. “Over the years, I have developed treatments that work perfectly on all skin colours. All of these different treatments will form part of the intensive four-week training period for franchisees.”

Mirage has been having a high level of interest from budding entrepreneurs in Yorkshire and hopes to have the same take up from people in the Manchester area in light of the new salon set to open there soon.

Mirage is finding that people are enquiring about running a Mirage franchise because it offers a better work life balance and the opportunity to open a business with your family.
