| The UK online dating market is growing seven times faster than the US market which has now plateaued. At present 5% of UK internet users browse online dating sites.Ross Williams, CEO of Global Personals says “There is phenomenal growth going on in the UK market as we catch up with the Americans. I would say conservatively that we will be at the same penetration as the US by 2015.“Not surprisingly, the French are out in front in the online love stakes with 90% of online users ’aware’ or ’having used’ online dating websites.Global Personals is the largest provider of online dating content in the UK.
