Action International Joins British Franchise AssociationOne of the world's fastest growing franchises, business coaching organisation Action International, has just joined the British Franchise Association. The first business coaching franchisor to join the BFA, Action International has been operating in the UK for a little over three years and has already established a network of nearly 100 business coaches who are helping UK & Irish small business owners & proprietors tackle many of the challenges they face on a daily basis. These include how to work less hours, how to achieve a better income, how to recruit staff & delegate, and even how to take a proper holiday. Established around 12 years ago and now the largest business coaching organisation in the world, Action International is the brainchild of Australian accountant Brad Sugars who recognised that most owners of small and medium sized businesses didn't know how to effectively grow their businesses and achieve their goals. As a result, he developed a comprehensive business coaching & mentoring system that can assist business owners to achieve their goals and realise their dreams with dramatic results. The success of the business coaching concept in the UK is such that Action International is planning further expansion to accommodate increasing demand for its services. Indeed, with over 4 million SME's in the UK, the market for business coaching is both large and largely untapped. According to Action's UK General Manager Ian Johnstone: "Becoming a business coach is a really appealing option for many people looking to start a franchise, especially if they have had previous experience in management. This is because we train them to use that experience, along with their own expertise and motivation, to help business owners, something that brings great job satisfaction. What's more, unlike other many franchises, business coaching has relatively low overheads and can be operated from home. It also offers high earning potential and an unprecedented level of flexibility." One of the main strengths of Action International is the unprecedented level of training & support it provides to its franchisees. Following an initial 10 day intensive training programme at Action International's US headquarters, coaches receive weekly briefings & consultancy sessions with fellow coaches and can refer to a wealth of specialist training aids & materials. Action International also operates a massive international Intranet which enables coaches to call upon the combined experience of the company's 700 coaches when faced with a particular challenge or issue.
