International Franchising Law Practice, Eversheds joins the Franchiseek Global Alliance NetworkLondon, UK - International Franchising Law Practice, Eversheds has joined the Franchiseek Global Alliance Network as legal advisors to Franchiseek Limited. Chairman of Eversheds' franchising team, Dr Martin Mendelsohn has supported Franchiseek from the outset. He will continue to write articles on international franchising for the Franchiseek media network comprising of its website, magazine and handbook series to be launched in Summer 2005. Head of Franchising, Chris Wormald joined Eversheds as a partner in 1996 to join the international franchising law practice established by Martin Mendelsohn who is one of the world's most highly regarded "gurus" and a prolific author and lecturer on franchising. Chris qualified with leading City law firm Simmons & Simmons in 1979, spending 6 years in international tax and commercial structuring before joining McDonald's European headquarters as their first European General Counsel. He became a Vice-President of McDonald's Europe two years later and was with the company for 10 years as its network grew to over 2000 stores in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
