Fast But Not Furious, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® Earns Franchise Times’ Annual Fast 55 Ranking

Earning awards from the franchise industry is nothing new for Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning®.

In its short history, Oxi Fresh’s innovative carpet cleaning methods and cutting edge franchise business model has earned the company numerous recognitions of business excellence. The most recent is a #9 ranking in Franchise Times magazine’s Fast 55 – a list of the fastest growing franchises.

The Fast 55 ranking, first developed by Franchise Times and FRANdata seven years ago, is based on the percentage of growth of a company. Only new franchises that have been franchising just within the past 5 years are rated. According to the article, the Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning franchise achieved a whopping 671.50% average unit growth between 2006 and 2010.

Jonathan Barnett, MBA, President of Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, is understandably proud of the company he started in 2006, which has now grown to over 180 locations in the U.S. “The Fast 55 ranking acknowledges the vitality of our business. In an article for the Fast 55 feature, Barnett cited several reasons for the success of his business, including Oxi Fresh’s in-house call center that processes appointments. He said the center allows franchisees to work “on their business, rather than in their business.” He also felt that, in this period of economic recession, having a low-cost and low-overhead business attracts franchisees.
