A Brush with Beauty (ABWB), an award-winning make-up and beauty provider in the UK, is delighted to announce the winner of its unique ‘Business in a Box’ mobile Beauty-to-Go franchise competition.

Lisa Burford, from the Isle of Wight is the lucky winner of her very own mobile beauty business, worth over £4,500 after submitting the very creative beauty treatment called ‘Paradise Island Retreat.’

The treatment guarantees total relaxation of body and mind coupled with soft and rehydrated skin head to toe. Starting with a restorative, warm-compress massage to banish muscle tension and sooth dry skin, the Paradise Island Retreat includes an indulgent Thai foot massage and finishes with a pressure-point face and scalp massage to ease tension and give clarity of the mind.

Already a fully trained mobile beauty and holistic therapist, and make-up artist, Lisa will run her own regional ABWB business on the Isle of Wight, accompanied with the necessary support and expertise to make it a real success.

Ten runners up received membership to ABWB’s UK Associates Team – a network of beauty associates across the country with strong partnerships with luxury hotels and wedding venues, worth £99. The associate programme is a great scheme allowing hotel guests and wedding parties to book treatments with ABWB from their hotel room.

In addition the runners up each received a portable beauty case from Beauty Boxes too.

The unique initiative ‘Business in a Box’ was launched in September 2014 by ABWB after spotting the rising trend in the number of ‘on-location’ visitors and out-of-hour appointments booked to fit around client’s lifestyle commitments.

Amy concludes: “Many beauty professionals relish the idea of starting their own business but often lack confidence and the knowhow.
